The low season on Phu Quoc can mean rain, and lots of it. Sometimes it can rain for several days in a row, non-stop. Stay anywhere on Phu Quoc Island and you’ll probably see a sign, or be given a brochure, advertising a snorkel/fishing tour. Being a sucker for tours that include water, and me going into it, I was chomping at the bit to get on a boat. I’m a runner; I try to run whenever I can. I run anywhere I can, mostly in the gym because I live in the city of Saigon, but I particularly love running on the beach. Luckily for me, Vietnam has some awesome beaches for running.
